ANDY AMUNA FOUNDATION AWARD SCHOLARSHIPS TO BRILLIANT BUT NEEDY UNIVERSITY STUDENTS 2024/25 ACACADEMIC YEAR
The Andy Amuna Foundation awarded its first scholarships to support needy but brilliant students for the 24/25 academic year. This follows the call for applications published in October 2024 and the subsequent selection by the legal and selection committee of the Foundation. In all the foundation received eight (8) applications. The applications were taken through the awards criteria and at the close of the committee meeting seven (7) applicants qualified and were subsequently approved by the Board of trustees.
All awardees were selected from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and the Bolgatanga Technical University.
Special awards were also considered out of the application scheme by the Board. Two students especially identified as brilliant but needy at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and technology were supported by the foundation.
Each student was awarded a brand-new laptop worth one thousand dollars ($1000.00) each to support their studies and an amount of Ghs 2000.00 cedis to help pay their school fees.
The Board of Trustees take the opportunity to thank all contributors to the foundation and congratulate our first cohort for scholars who went through the rigorous criteria and were awarded the scholarships.
